We are pleased to offer you the use of a car* during your stay at Sweet Homes Villa, to enable you to explore North Cyprus at your leisure. The car is a Citroen C4, and is fully licenced and insured for use in North Cyprus. Drivers must be 25 years of age or over.

The car will be available from Sweet Homes Villa on your arrival, and should be left at Sweet Homes Villa on your departure. Please therefore make your own arrangements to get to/from the villa on your arrival/departure.

The use of the car is free for 500 kilometres (a charge of 50p per kilometre will be levied once you exceed 500 kilometres).

The tank will be full of petrol on your arrival, and should be left full of petrol on your departure.

The number to call in case of a breakdown (the main dealer) can be found in the car (please note, we are unable to offer any alternative transportation in the event of the car being off the road due to a breakdown or accident). Details of the procedure to follow should you be involved in an accident whilst using the car will be confirmed to you on your arrival.

The car can only be used in North Cyprus.

Prior to useage, a deposit will be due of 150 GB Pounds in case of damage/speeding fines. This deposit will need to be kept for a minimum of three months as the Police are slow at passing out speeding fines. Please note: the Police are quite hot on speeding in North Cyprus (there are static cameras and mobile cameras), and so a condition of the use of the car is that you keep to the speed limits whilst driving it at all times. We will also need to see your full driving licence (both parts in the case of a UK driving licence).

If you do not wish to make use of the car during your stay at Sweet Homes Villa, we regret that we are unable to offer you any discount off the rental cost of the villa.

* Please note, the car is available during peak periods (i.e. July and August) only.
